I am IN LOVE with this ribbon. It is from the Holiday Mini and has been the inspiration for the Vincent's 2008 Holiday card. What are the colors of Christmas? Are they only green and red? I love to use non-traditional colors in my Christmas cards. I made this card for a class this past week. The colors are Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White. Okay so I broke out the sock monkey again this weekend. This time I did a surprise pop up technique inside the card. Basically you punch out a circuit and then cut a "spring" out of the circle. As I have mentioned Stampin Up has partnered with Sizzix and as of September 2nd will be selling the Big Shot along with some exclusive Stampin Up dies. The Sock Monkey (ITEM 111550)in the short time it has been around has been very controversial. Most people either love it or hate it. I love it! This is my first card using it. Sunday, August 10th is the last day for the 2008 Spring/Summer catalog. Starting August 11th we will have a new catalog with lots of new sets, project ideas and new technique instructions. Last month we got the retiring stamp list. It is always sad to see some of the sets go. However, last week we received the new catalog. This is very exciting. I and the other 6000 demonstrators who went are now back from Convention and a great time was had by all. Utah is a great city if you can get past the 100 degree dry days. Stampin Up is now 20 years old. Woo Hoo!!!!We got to tour the Stampin Up corporate offices and I have to say that is one of the most lovely office/manufacturing facilities I have ever visited.
