They are all hanging on my fridge - which accounts for the funny angles..LOL I will tell you this. These pictures do not do them justice. There is something about a handmade card in person that is lost by camera. I will post more later.

How are your cards coming along?

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! Today I went to my friend Faith's house to work on Christmas cards. We both got a lot done while we snacked on some left over goodies from yesterday...

While this isn't the card either one of us is sending out - I thought it was such a cute and simple design - and I wanted to share it with you.

Faith made this card is made with Old Olive Card stock, Chocolate Chip 5/8ths wide Grosgrain Ribbon, Holiday Treasures Designer Paper and To You and Yours Stamp Set stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink on Whisper White and then highlighted with Dazzling Diamonds adhered with 2 way glue.

Remember even if you don't have this stamp set or these colors you can take a design and make it your own.

Inspiration

We all get inspiration for cards from different places. I have been inspired by book covers, bedspreads and coffee mugs. But sometimes it is not as abstract as that. Today I was inspired by a card I saw online.

I didn't have the stamp set (Always), but I loved the layout and the color combination. So I looked through my stamp sets and decided to take to make this...

Here I used Live Like You Mean it, one of our new Level 1 Hostess sets. I kept the color combination. They are two of our In Colors, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point.

So be inspired by everything you see around you. Even if it means CASEing a card...(thanks Serenity Stamper for creating the Always Bird and inspiring me).
